Oil Paintings, 2025 - 2026
This series explores the relationship between the body and the spaces we create. The figures are less about individual identity than about posture, weight, and where they exist within their environment. I'm especially interested in how architecture and space can shape a painting just as much as a figure itself. Walls, furniture, and blocks of color become part of the composition, creating a sense of stillness, distance, and quiet tension. Rather than telling a story, the paintings invite viewers to spend time with the space between people, objects, and the rooms that contain them.
